Established in 1985, LVM operates from offices in Johannesburg. The original partnership was transformed into a registered company to formalise the ownership. The purpose of the restructuring is to create a registered company which also offers other specialist services such as contract building work management, project management and interior design contracts over and above the architectural services. LVM offers expertise and architectural experience which covers a wide spectrum of the building industry, ranging from urban commercial developments to rural projects. These include, inter alia, shopping centres, institutional and residential developments, public centres and private schools. LVM has extensive experience in technical projects, including computer facilities, broadcasting facilities, signal distribution facilities and similar high tech projects. LVM supervises various projects country wide for companies such as SABC, Sentech (Pty) Ltd, Seeff Properties and Nedcor Bank. Projects are managed by a specialist project architect, backed up by skilled design and technical staff utilising facilities and well-developed electronic support services. All drawings are executed on AUTOCAD and Revit. Extending the scope of the standard professional services, LVM have developed expertise to provide specialised training as well as technical assistance to previously disadvantaged contractors in order to improve their own professionalism. This was successfully implemented on various community projects.
